SUMMARY:August "Death by Pinball" IFPA Tournament
DESCRIPTION:Summer is ending\, but we’re just getting started! The IFPA has begun sanctioning events for point rankings\, so let’s make this one count! \nThis tournament will consist of 8 rounds. All players will play in all rounds in groups of 3 or 4 on randomly selected machines. Players will receive points each round depending on where they finish. (7 points for 1st place\, 5 points for 2nd\, 3 points for 3rd\, and 1 point for 4th. Groups of 3 scoring will be 7/4/1.) The player with the most points after 8 rounds will win. Tiebreaks will be decided on a single final game chosen at random\, with cash prizes awarded. \nTo register in advance\, please send your entry fee to roanokepinballleague@gmail.com\, via Paypal\, Zelle\, CashApp or Venmo. (Be sure to select “Friends and Family” if using Paypal.) If paying in person on the day\, CASH or one the above payment methods will be required. We cannot process credit cards for this tournament. \nCost is $15 to enter\, or $10 for current VIP supporters of the Roanoke Pinball Museum.\nDoors open for practice play at 5:45 PM.
