DESCRIPTION:We’ve only just recovered from our last Flip Frenzy\, but it was so popular that we’re going to do it all over again! \nJoin us for another 2.5 hours of frenetic head-to-head combat\, with a potential playoff round to be determined. DESCRIPTION:Spring League begins Monday\, April 11th\, and meets every other week (with some exceptions as noted below) through July at the Roanoke Pinball Museum\, with playoffs held on July 18th. Doors open for practice play at 6:30pm\, with league play beginning at 7:00pm. Players will compete in groups of 4\, on 8 machines per night. League format is Best Game\, with each player’s lowest 2 nights dropped. The top 4 players in each division go to the Finals\, which will be 4 games of Match Play\, to determine final standings. SUMMARY:March Madness Flip Frenzy!
DESCRIPTION:2.5 hours of playing as much pinball as possible! Players will be placed in head-to-head matches against other opponents\, playing as many machines as possible within the allotted time. After you play a game\, player 1 will become player 2 on a new machine\, player 2 will go to the back of the queue\, and the person at the front of the queue becomes player 1 on the new machine. At the end of the 2.5 hours of Flip Frenzy\, the top 4 players will move on to a Final 1-game playoff to determine the winner. The tournament starts at 6:30pm sharp\, so you must check in at the front desk no later than 6:15pm so we can do pre-tournament announcements and start on time. \nTournaments are open to people of all ages and skill levels. To encourage new players\, three players who have never played competitive pinball before will also win a prize! \nRegistration is $15 ($10 for RPM VIP Patrons). $1 from the tourney buy-in goes to the IFPA for the sanctioning of events\, $5 for museum admission (waived for VIP Patrons)\, and the remaining $9 goes to the prize pool. DESCRIPTION:Its a new year\, so scrape the remains of 2021 off of your shoes and start things out right with some pinball! \nThis is planned to be a group match play tournament\, though format is subject to change based on attendance. \nTournament will consist of 8 rounds. All players will play in all rounds in groups of 3 or 4 on randomly selected machines. Players will receive points each round depending on where they finish. (7 points for 1st place\, 5 points for 2nd\, 3 points for 3rd\, and 1 point for 4th. Groups of 3 scoring will be 7/4/1.) The player with the most points after 8 rounds will win.
